Expected Wellness Outcomes
Sharper concentration and sustained attention
Faster information recall
Improved emotional regulation under stress
Enhanced creativity and learning capacity
Better sleep quality and next-day energy
Faster cognitive recovery post-exams or athletic events

ALL THE DETAILS
-
Pressure 1.7 – 2.0 ATA
Optimal zone for neuronal oxygenation and mitochondrial activation.
Time at Pressure 75 minutes
Slightly extended exposure promotes deeper tissue saturation for neuroperformance.
-
PROTOCOL
Acclimation Phase
3 sessions/week for 2 weeks at 1.5 ATA for first 3–4 sessions, then gradually increase to 1.7 – 2.0 ATA.
Performance Phase
4 – 5 sessions/week for 4 – 6 weeks
Focus on building neuroefficiency and recovery; best results seen around session 20 – 30.
MAINTENANCE
Maintenance Phase
1 – 2 sessions/week Ongoing
Maintain brain performance, stress resilience, and recovery during school year or sports season.
-
Hydration: 16–24 oz of water within 1 hour before session.
Fuel: Light meal or snack with protein + complex carb (avoid fasting).
Supplements (optional wellness support):
Magnesium glycinate (calm focus)
Omega-3 (neural membrane health)
B-complex (energy metabolism)
Avoid caffeine, energy drinks, or strong stimulants 2 hours prior.
Mindset: Set an intention — e.g., focus, calm, clarity.
-
Breathe normally — no need for forced deep breaths.
Quiet reading, guided meditation, or focus music (if allowed in your system).
Encourage relaxation and consistent breathing rhythm — parasympathetic balance supports learning integration.
-
10–15 minutes quiet time or light stretching.
Drink water or an electrolyte beverage.
If possible, take a 20-minute nap or study session afterward — oxygen-rich neuroplastic windows boost memory formation.
-
Red Light Therapy (RLT) Before HBOT Primes mitochondria for oxygen metabolism.
Cold Plunge or Contrast Shower After HBOT Boosts alertness, focus, and circulation.
Mindfulness / Visualization Training During or after HBOT Reinforces neural wiring under high oxygen availability.
-
Pre-Session Recommendations
Light, balanced meal 1–2 hours prior
No alcohol or heavy caffeine same day
Hydration encouraged
Ear clearing check
Do not use if you have any of the following:
Uncontrolled seizure disorders
Active upper respiratory infections or sinus congestion
Uncontrolled hypertension
Untreated pneumothorax
Claustrophobia (without desensitization or sedation)
Clients should start hyperbaric oxygen therapy with a protocol package for comprehensive initial treatment, then continue with a maintenance membership for ongoing support and benefits.
Individual outcomes from the therapy may vary. Each person’s response to treatment depends on a variety of factors including their unique health condition and overall wellness. While our experienced staff is committed to providing personalized support and guidance throughout the therapy process, we do not guarantee the cure of any medical condition.
Our goal is to assist clients in achieving relief from symptoms and to support overall healing and recovery. Clients should consult with their healthcare provider before beginning treatment and disclose any health concerns during their sessions.
By participating in hyperbaric oxygen therapy at ELEVATE SONOMA, clients acknowledge understanding of these terms.
If you're unsure where to begin, we suggest scheduling a free consultation with one of our team members in-person or virtually. This allows us to understand your needs and goals and tailor a protocol specifically for you.
